About Local Biz Wire

Local Biz Wire was founded in 2024 by a regional stringer network that used to sell stories to local papers until most of those papers folded. Rather than let the reporting die, we run it directly here. A rotating roster of local contributors covers about 40 US cities on a quarterly cycle. Each story is written by someone who actually lives in the city.
